it was brilliant!
we spent less than $80 on all these.
(it's good to have a sister who's as obsessed about body shop as you are...)
got back home and calculated that we would have spent $177.90 if it wasn't a warehouse sale.
2 bottles of vitamin E toners were going for $14.90, when the U.P. of each bottle's $19.90.
and the U.P. for fuzzy peach's $24.90, was at $12.90!
the warehouse sale's from 29th march to 1st april, at the suntec convention center level 3
:)
all that body shopping made us hungry.
so we scooted over to QiJi at marina square.
i've always loved QiJi.
it's halal!
i think their mee siam rocks.
i've heard their laksa's good too.
but i'm no fan of laksa, so i've never tried.
i also love their popiah.
yus ordered their nasi lemak (which is nice too, but not as nice as Adam Rd's)
i ordered the prawn popiah
and we gobbled them up before i realised i didn't take pics.
but, we took a picture of chee cheong fan.
it was our first chee cheong fan.
my first thoughts were that it was gonna be tasteless.
but i started with the bits that were soaked in the clear sweet sauce.
nice.
then dipped with the chilli.
nice.
then dipped with the funky black sauce. (is it oyster sauce?)
not nice. at all.
yus thinks it's an acquired taste.
i just avoided the funky black sauce..
we're left wondering...
is chee cheong fan a main dish or dessert?
