we went to simei to celebrate, on thursday.
simei, because we love the food there, and because the never-ending rain prevented us from going far.
not just waffles. our second time.
i realise that not just waffles really has a limited selection of waffles.
and that the prices were not for budget-conscious me.
despite all that, it was still a good food place for us.
waffles were freshly baked, and mine came with chocolate drizzled on it, and a scoop of mango ice cream.
i was deliriously happy.
he ordered plain waffles and a turkey bacon burger.
when the burger came, we thought it was a rip-off. $3.50 for something i could assemble on my own.
but a bite later and we were amazed at the juicyness that oozed out.
ok. i have to say the best burger i've eaten has got to be swensen's.
but for $3.50, it made him a very happy boy, and me, a very jealous girl.
we walked around east point after and discovered a malay stall on level 3, i think.
didnt catch it's name, but we'll go there once we've conquered old chang kee's take 5.
we went to banquet too and discovered more tempting foods.
i wanna live in simei.
