yes. i'm finally back.
throughout the weeks i've been away, (only 2 kan? not long right?) there are moments which i felt i shud've blogged out.
like... the past catching up with me.
thru friendster, no less.
and hari raya being... kinda weird on my end.

but then, there are the happy moments, like kartini's wedding, and hanging out with kat n ain before and after the wedding.
reading the emails from squadmates. (cheryl got married!!!!)
and the endless mugging with the people who i see everyday at level 5.
de happy moments kept me in check...

and after 7 papers, 17 hours of being in the exam halls, the constant munching on unhealthy snacks (i gained weight ok! UGH!) and the shoulder cramps from writing too much, i finally had a good good day out yesterday.

i dun really like to show off about him.
as in, i dun really like to post up pics of... him, or us being all googley-eyed n loveydovey, coz in my mind, i might just offend people... with the menyampahness of it all.
but this entry's kinda focusing on him...
coz it was his birthday on sunday...
we celebrated it yesterday after my fluids paper, and because we had the no-birthday-present-just-a-day-out agreement, with the suggestions from ain & osh, i made him do a birthday amazing race.
started at masjid sultan, made our way to bugis junction, took neoprints, watched happy feet while eating strawberries & nutella and had dinner at Eatzi's Simei. and he was pleasantly surprised when the waitress brought out the banana choc cake, and the birthday song was sung. he was all smiley.

after all that, we agreed that we'd revert to our usual system next year. coz the cupcakes thing and this amazing race thing, altho was all good and fun, kinda bordered on being stressful. at least, that was wat i thought. and i've always LOVED planning and the *stress* that comes with it. am i getting too old? hmmm.

eatzi's another reason why simei is food paradise.
ok, so the prices are kinda ex, but it's comparable to swensen's.
the service there's good.
i mean, if u're planning on doing a nice birthday surprise, eatzi's a good place to try.

sigh. eat eat eat. dats y so fat.
oh well. it's the curse of living in the east i guess.
all the good food's here.

kitty kat needs me to list down the places that have nice food.
