then he looked down...
it's really hard to concentrate especially when the lecturer's boring.structures.half the time i'd be nodding off.but today was different.the french couple sat in front of me today.i was nearer to the girl.they were exchanging notes on the foolscap pad.the german beside her offered them both fisherman's friend.the green packet.the french guy took a sweet, and said,"merci. thank you."the german nodded.they continued scribbling to each other on the foolscap pad.he wrote.he smiled.she wrote.she smiled back.i saw familiar french words on the paper.then, i thought to myself, why am i eavesdropping/reading..?structures is boring!so i continued.. spying..he wrote.she wrote.he wrote.she wrote.he read.she wrote.he read.she wrote longer paragraphs.he stopped writing entirely.she continued writing.more and more paragraphs.and he just read.the pauses in between the writing and the readingwas just him spacing out.then at one pointhe looked down.his fingers reached under his glasses.was that a tear?yes it was!he wiped his eyes a bit.and all i could think about was... mean french girl! MEAN FRENCH GIRL!her words, on paper, made him cry.i thought of the many moments i've hurt people.with the things i say or do.and those were actions, and words with expression.if lifeless words on paper could hurt a personmy actions & my words have done so much more.the lesson ends.he got up and walked off without her.she caught up with him near the lift.macam drama, says Fan.but the setting's nice, he added.the skies were grey.
the weather was cold.and she was trying there, with him.saying sorry? trying to comfort him?Fan and i didnt stay around to watch.at least she stuck around...makes me wonder if i did stick around to make sure they felt better before i left.makes me wonder if i stuck around long enough to make sure they felt better before i left.
